Nick's Cuillin Ridge Climb!!!!!

My mum's fantastic friend called Nick is going to raise some money for me to go towards my new wheelchair by climbing up a really dangerous mountain ridge in Skye. Please, please hit the donate button, even if it is just a few pence, because every penny helps us to get there. All the blurb is in the previous posting. GOOD LUCK TO NICK IN HER TRAINING... WE THINK SHE'S FAB... GO NICK!

FEET!

Well they've been red, pink, orange and purple (dad took me that day!) and then black, the feet that is. I like the red best of all.

My new splints are coming soon and I'll post a picture of them when they arrive. They are fab and I am very proud of them. Oh I've also got some groovy new glasses so I'll see if mum will pop them on too!

Nick's Cuillin Ridge Climb!!!!!

My mum has a fantastic friend called Nick and she is going to raise some money for me to go towards my new wheelchair by climbing up a really dangerous mountain ridge in Skye. My mum says she thinks she is a lunatic but I think she's fab! In her own words this is what she's telling everyone...

I've decided to try and conquer the Cuillin Ridge in Scotland in June 2011 to raise sponsorship for Stevie’s wheelchair. The Cuillin Ridge traverse is a continuous crossing of a long mountain range on the Isle of Skye. Twenty Two peaks lie in a continuous chain stretching over 12 km. It is widely acknowledged to offer the greatest alpine-style mountaineering challenge in Europe with over 4000 metres of ascent and descent. It feels like the edge of the world, it's romantic and harks back to another time. Its the best climb in the world done properly and the biggest nightmare ever when done wrong! Please please sponsor me to do the ridge by donating through Stevie's site. All the money will go towards her wheelchair.

Nick xx

Told you she was fab!

Festival girl...

Hi this is me at the Green Man festival 2008. My mum is very proud of these photos because I was getting around really well in my Pedro's and walker. I'm not doing so well in my walker now but I am going to have some special casts made this year which may help me to get up and walking again.
